Why verify your social accounts?

Verifying your social accounts and WhatsApp number does three things:

1. Proves to advertisers that you own the channels you claim - building credibility.
2. Enables automatic view tracking when you link via OAuth (more accurate than screenshots).
3. Increases your trust score, which influences campaign eligibility and payout speed.

Verifying link-based platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, YouTube)

Option A - Manual (always available)

1. Go to Settings → Social Accounts.
2. Enter your handle for each platform.
3. Copy your unique UGC verification code and add it to your social bio.
4. Our team will check your bio and verify your account within 24 hours.

Option B - OAuth Connect (where available)

1. Go to Settings → Social Accounts.
2. Tap Connect next to the platform.
3. Authorize the UGC app in the platform's own login flow.
4. Verification is instant - and automatic view tracking activates immediately.

Verifying your WhatsApp number (Tier 1 WhatsApp KYC)

WhatsApp verification is a separate process that proves your WhatsApp number is active and linked to your UGC account. It's the gateway to:

• Receiving platform alerts and slot reminders directly on WhatsApp (sniper alerts, view-proof reminders, earnings notifications).
• Higher eligibility for WhatsApp Status campaigns that require a verified WhatsApp number.
• A stronger trust score on your creator profile.

How to verify your WhatsApp number

1. Go to Settings → Social Accounts.
2. Find WhatsApp and tap Verify.
3. Enter your WhatsApp number. You'll receive an OTP on WhatsApp.
4. Enter the OTP to confirm. Your WhatsApp is now verified on UGC.

After verification, you can manage your WhatsApp notification preferences - turn on or off specific alert types - in Settings → Notifications.

Which platforms are supported?

Link-based: TikTok, Instagram, X (Twitter), and YouTube. WhatsApp verification for alerts and slot eligibility. Additional platforms may be added over time.
