Launching a Clip Campaign as a Podcaster, Streamer, or Musician

A walkthrough of Clip Campaigns for source-creators: fund a pool against your raw footage or pre-cut templates and let creators from across the platform cut, personalize, and post clips for you.

Who this is for

Clip Campaigns are built for podcasters, streamers, musicians, and any mid-tier creator with long-form footage worth turning into short-form reach - not just brands with finished branded assets. If you have a podcast episode, a stream VOD, or any long-form video, you can fund clippers to cut and distribute it for you.

Choosing your source mode

When creating a Clip Campaign in the campaign wizard, choose one of two modes:

  • Raw footage - link your full source video. Clippers cut their own moment from it, so you get a range of different clips and hooks from the same source.
  • Pre-clipped template - upload one or more clips you've already cut. Clippers personalize (caption, hook, trim) before posting - faster for clippers, but requires personalization to avoid every post looking identical.

The rights step

Because clippers are redistributing your footage - not their own idea, and not a brand's finished asset - campaign creation requires a rights attestation before it can go live. See Rights Attestation and Source Link Requirements for exactly what's required for your source link.

Guidance that gets you better clips

Use the clip-guidance field to tell clippers which moments are worth cutting, what tone to keep, and any topics or guests to avoid. The clearer your guidance, the more usable clips you'll get from the wide pool of clippers who can pick up your campaign.
