UGC Just Crossed 1,000 Users - Here's What That Actually Means
UGC crossed 1,000+ registered users - 817 creators, 95 advertisers, 61 doing both. Here's what's actually behind that number, and why we're tracking it at all.

UGC crossed 1,000 registered users this week. 817 creators. 95 advertisers. 61 people doing both.
We're not writing this post because 1,000 is a big number. It isn't, in the context of what we're building. We're writing it because it's the first point where the numbers are big enough to say something real about how the platform is actually being used - and because we said from the start that we'd share these milestones as they land, not just the ones that sound impressive.
What's Behind the Number
A "user" on UGC isn't a signup form filled out and forgotten. It's an account doing one of two things: posting brand content and earning per view, or funding a campaign to get that content distributed.
- 817+ creators have accounts set up to claim campaign slots, post content to their own TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, and get paid per 1,000 verified views.
- 95+ advertisers are running or have run campaigns - funding a budget, setting a CPM rate, and getting their content distributed across those creators' audiences.
- 61+ users are both - creators who also run their own campaigns, or advertisers who post content themselves. That overlap is worth noting on its own: it means the line between "the person distributing the ad" and "the person paying for it" is thinner on UGC than the traditional ad-agency model assumes.
None of these numbers are inflated by dormant accounts padding a growth chart. They're people who came through the platform to do a specific thing - post content or fund a campaign - and did it.
Why We're Tracking This at All
A user count on its own doesn't tell you much. What it's a proxy for is what matters: campaigns funded, content posted, views verified, payouts cleared. Those are the numbers that actually describe whether the platform works. User count is just the easiest one to put on a graphic.
We hit our 10th completed creator payout a few days before this one. Both numbers are moving in the same direction, which is the only thing either of them is really evidence of.
What's Next
We're not going to pretend we know exactly when the next milestone lands - that depends on how many creators and advertisers show up in the meantime, not on a plan we've set. What we do know is that campaigns are getting funded and payouts are clearing every week, and we'll keep marking the numbers as they come.
If you're a creator who hasn't joined yet: your following doesn't need to be big. Post what you already post, get paid per view.
If you're an advertiser evaluating whether performance-based distribution actually delivers: the growth above is the audience your campaign would reach, funded by advertisers who came before you.
