## What is UGC?

UGC is a global performance-based advertising distribution network. Advertisers fund campaigns (flat fee, social CPM, or streaming CPM); creators (broadcasters) reserve slots, post branded content to their social feeds, and earn from verified reach - no minimum follower count required.

Surfaces include clipping and Clip Studio, music and sound promo, contests, referrals, a Telegram mini app, and the developer API. WhatsApp Status and Snapchat are distribution channels, alongside the other listed platforms.

The platform is API-first: portals are one client; agencies, DSPs, and AI agents integrate via REST, outbound webhooks, and MCP.

## For Creators

Remote MCP is streamable HTTP at https://api.ugc.africa/mcp (GET/POST/DELETE). Official registry listing: `africa.ugc/ugc` at https://registry.modelcontextprotocol.io/. The ChatGPT plugin package lives under `api/docs/chatgpt-plugin`. Claude connects by pasting https://api.ugc.africa/mcp as a custom connector. Do not upload the ChatGPT zip to Claude.

Advertiser chat tools include create, fund, feature, wallets, and crypto checkout. Creator tools include discover, reserve, submit proof, and earnings. `campaign_create` takes `title`, `payoutType` (`FLAT`, `CPM_SOCIAL`, `CPM_STREAMING`), `advertiserCpmRate`, `totalBudget`, `campaignType`, `campaignGoal`, `targetPlatforms` (channels), captions, and asset URLs. No upload tool. Clip Studio is a product, not an MCP tool. There is no `agent_transfer` MCP tool.

## Authentication

- User login: `POST /auth/login` → returns JWT

- OAuth 2.0 integrations: Zapier, Make.com, n8n, and custom apps via `/automation/connect`

## Developer & Partner Program

Agencies and tech partners can register as Solution Partners. Partners earn commissions on attributed campaign spend and can publish AI agents to the UGC Agent Directory.
